Educational Curriculum

Environmental education is a lifelong process that must begin early to instill lasting habits in the ecological caretakers of tomorrow. The Can Manufacturers Institute offers a series of three interactive educational programs designed for elementary school students in grades 4-6, middle school students and high school students.

CMI publishes and distributes educational materials for children that highlight the benefits of recycling and encourage environmentally and socially responsible behavior. CMI has fulfilled over 8,000 environmental curriculum requests from teachers who have a combined potential of reaching 240,000 classroom students and establishing setting up aluminum can recycling programs in those schools.

These materials are free of charge; registration is required.
